Ariela Morgenstern
Bay Area theatre veteran Ariela Morgenstern returns home to San Francisco after nearly ten years on the boards in New York. From the title role of Carmen to leads in Next to Normal, Light in the Piazza, Man of La Mancha, The Threepenny Opera and Flashdance the Musical, Ariela has been lauded on both coasts for her eclectic and masterful work on the musical, theater, cabaret, opera and concert stage. She has performed Off-Broadway, in National Tours, Carnegie Hall and regionally across the country including many of our beloved local companies.

Ariela is an avid fan of composer Kurt Weill and having specialized in his music for many years as a cabaret singer, she was honored to win 2nd place in the Kurt Weill Foundation’s International Lotte Lenya Competition.

Making here Feinstein’s at the Nikko debut, Ariela is thrilled to share unfiltered stories of curveballs, homecomings and the endless (and exhausting) joys of her newest lead role, Mother to baby Lilah.

She will be joined onstage by Dan Feyer who was Music Director for A Christmas Carol and Assistant MD for A Little Night Music both at A.C.T. Dan accompanies classes and cabaret performances for the A.C.T. Conservatory. He is a San Francisco native, Princeton graduate, author of three books of word search puzzles and four New York Times crosswords, and six time defending champion of the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.
