Sherrell Lee is the lead vocalist and has been performing Hawaiian music for over 14 years and also participates in musical theatre as well as her own solo projects throughout the Bay Area. She is influenced by Bette Midler, Etta James and Ronni Spector as well as her grandfather who played ukulele and sang at all family events.
Waddy Dacay sings and plays rhythm/lead guitar. He was born on Kauai, Hawaii and prefers the blues, jazz, reggae and rock music. He also performs regularly with two other island style bands in the Bay Area.
Vince Arroyo is a percussionist that has been marching to the beat of his own drum since he was a kid hitting the table, cups and glasses with hairbrushes, silverware or anything he could find to use as a drumstick. When not performing, Vince pursues his interests in design and technology.
Rory O’Neill plays Bass and is the musical foundation of the group. His influences include Stanley Clarke, Les Claypool, Bootsy Collins, Steve Harris, and Geddy Lee. O’Neill feels there is something special about sharing the language of music with the audience. He also plays bass for another Hawaiian band as well as a Bluegrass band.
Kevin Lam hails from Oahu, Hawaii and has enjoyed playing guitar for 22 years. He rocked many music venues such as the living room, bedroo0m, garage and backyard before getting gigs with Hawaiian bands covering a wide range of musical genres. His preferences and favorite artists change on a weekly basis but currently include streaming the “Skrillex” station on Pandora.
